Abstract
About Narrations of Prophet Adam’s Height
According to Islam, the first human and the first prophet is Adam. Especially Hadith, Tafsir and İslamic History resources are include various narrations about his height. Some of them indicate that Adam’s height is sixty dhira'a (The term of “dhira'a” refers to the lenght from elbow to fingertips: cubits) approximately thirthy five or forty meter. But in my opinion, it is not clear what is meant by this measure. The purpose of this article is to make analyse of the narrations which concerning the Adam’s height in the light of scientific data.
