Abstract
The Mediator Role of Psychological Capital in the Relationship between Workholism and Burnout
In today's competitive conditions, it is important that employees perform more effort
than necessary. However, employees who using of all the energy that physiologically and
psychologically, this cause burnout after a while. Is it possible to overcome this negative
situation by psychological capital which focusing on the positive aspects of the emloyees?The aim of this research is to examine the mediating role of psychological capital on
the relationship between workolism and burnout. For this aim, a survey was conducted
with two bank’s 201 employees who have high working hours and standard operating
conditions. The results of the study revealed that, worklolism had a negative effect and
psychological capital had a mediating role on the relationship between worklolism and
burnout.
