Abstract
Burhan as a Term of Qur’an and Kalam
In the Qur’an, there are evidences to persuade Muslims and to persuade non-
Muslims. Qur’an considered Muslims to perform mental actions as worship by thinking
and contemplating. He accused non-Muslims of not using their minds. He accused non-
Muslims of disuse their minds. According to the Qur’anic data, there is a priority of
mental actions in the adoption and assimilation of faith. The Qur’anic scholars also called
this commandment of the Qur’an, the nazar and the istidlal, and considered the verdict
necessary for faith. In line with Qur'anic statements, evidence has been put forward for
the purpose of consolidating the values of faith and advocating against unethical ones.
