Abstract
Relationship Between Time Management and Work-Life Quality in Healthcare Employees
In this study, the relationship of the quality of work life variables that affect their
relationship with the considered time management of health professionals working in
organizational literature was investigated. The research was carried out in a public
hospital in Konya. In the research, the Work Life Quality Scale developed by Van Laar,
Edwards and Easton (2007) and the Time Management Scale developed by Bülbül
(2014) were used. Likert style was prepared in both scales. The Cronbach-Alpha value
of work life quality was 0,852 and the Cronbach-Alpha value of time management
was 0,819. In the study, the data obtained using the face-to-face survey method were
analyzed and interpreted in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences program. A
correlation analysis was made between time management and work quality of life, and
the relationship between them was significant (p <0.05). According to the results of the
analysis, a positive meaningful relationship has been reached between time management
and work life quality. As the programmatic and planned work increases, the quality of
work life increases. As time management increases, career satisfaction, general wellbeing,
control of work, and family-work-life balance also increase.
