Abstract
An Assessment on the Psychological Foundation of Religious Education
Studies attempt to explore the foundations of religious education are usually serve two purposes: To account for the legitimacy of this field or how it should be. Especially, the effort providing direction to religious education by comparing with contemporary approaches strengthens reasons for thinking on practice-oriented foundations of this field. In this article, the assessment for the psychological foundations of religious education will be made by virtue of a determination regarding this effort. An overall assessment will be made by improving a psychological approach - supporting paradigm which is regarded to be necessary for contemporary approaches to religious education - and by adapting educational view - supported by psychological analysis within the concept of behavior - to religious education.
