purposeful sampling methods, was used to determine the study group of the study. In
this direction, the working group consists of 10 classroom teachers who have taught
the subject of our five senses in the 3rd grade science lesson in state primary schools.
The data of the study were obtained between 30.06.2020-10.07.2020 and the data were
subjected to content analysis. In line with the findings obtained; It was determined
that most of the classroom teachers used the game method in their lessons, the game
method provided permanent learning and increased the active participation rates of the
students in the lessons. In addition to determining the general opinions of teachers about
educational games; Although teachers see themselves at a sufficient level to use the game
as a teaching method, it was concluded that they should be supported with pre-service
