Abstract
A Systematic Literature Review on the Concept of Family Resilience
Families often face extremely difficult experiences or crises caused by a variety of
factors. It is important to understand how family members support each other when problems arise in the family, how they resolve problems, and how they rebuild their lives
after the transition. That's why it's so important to understand how the family can rise
from the various issues that arise. This study aims to present the studies conducted in
the last ten years on the concept of family resilience and related factors. The method
used in this research is based on a systematic literature review using Science Direct
and Google Scholar databases with the help of the keywords "Family, Resilience and
Concept". Researches included in the study established positive associations between
family resilience, parental resilience, personal resilience, family resources, economic
situation, optimistic attitude, family cooperation, communication, positive coping
skills and psychological mental health, socio-ecological factors, marital satisfaction,
life satisfaction, positive family communication, personal resilience, positive attitude,
support, expectations, sibling relationship, clear family boundaries, parental presence,
parent emotional support, children's behavioral adaptation and problem solving skills.
