Abstract

From Mithra to Mithras Mysteria, Adventure of Foundation of Mithraism
Mitra was a god whom had been related to the sunlight in Ancient Arians. This belief was also effective before Zarathustra but after him it emerged in a stronger position and spread over a wide area as far as Rome. With Magin studies, this cult interacted with the local beliefs wherever it went. The cult of Mithra, which interacted with Mesopotamia and Anatolia beliefs, has become a new sycretic religion in the Helenistic period with new interactions. This cult with its new form spread all over the Roman Empire and took the name of Mithras Misteria and became the most effective religion in all over the empire. Mithra was especially prevalent among the soldiers, however, with the effect of Christianity in the Roman Empire, it weakened and erased.
