A Research of Burnout Levels on Vocational School Students
In the present study, the relation of some demographic variables with burn-out level of the vocational students was investigated. 376 students participated in the study. As data collection instruments, Burnout Measure (BM) and demographic information form were used. Independent t-test was used in order to examine two group differences while analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the means scores of more than two groups. In order to classify students according to their burnout levels two-step cluster analysis was applied to their scores obtained through burnout scales. In the t tests carried out, no meaningful difference has been found in their burnout levels in terms of their gender and the class they were attending. According to the results of ANOVA analysis, it was found that there are meaningful differences in their burnout levels with regard to their school success, their satisfaction with the education they had, their relationship with friends and the economic status of their families.
