Abstract

Çanakkale Savaşı, Rusça Kaynaklar, I. Dünya Savaşı, Çarlık Rusya.
When we look at the draft plans prepared by the Entente States before the beginning of World War I, the greatest focal point for war is the center of the Dardanelles Strait. The Entente States anticipate that the Canakkale fortification is weak and will easily overcome it. However, there was something they did not add up: the Turkish Nation's superior war effort. The Ottoman Empire, which mobilized all its resources and opportunities during World War I, suffered failures in the fronts of Russia, Iraq and Sina from the beginning of the war but won unprecedented triumphs dazzling the eyes of the world on the front of the Dardanelles. This success was celebrated as a great victory among all the allied states. Berlin, Vienna and Istanbul were celebrated for their victory. When we look at the Russian sources of such historical significance, we really understand how hard the victory was won and how the Russian commanders were upset. When we look at the sources, we see a Russia who wants to break down the crime of defeat on the UK in general. The most noteworthy aspect of the sources is that it is plausible that the battle against the depletion of the plan, which has been carried out with no account of Russia, is actually done on all fronts and with all parties. This defeat of the English has proved that they are even more serious and that it is better to plan the war by granting every frontier. In our study; Russian sources, archive documents and newspapers were examined and documented under a qualitative study. In the Russian sources, the reflection of the Gallipoli war was investigated and the effect of the victory on the politics of Tsarist Russia at that time was examined.
