Abstract


Linguistics and Religion Language Relations in the Context of Rationalism
The debates on linguistics that began in the early the twentieth century firstly, only based on offer and the nature of language is produced obout how the human mind understands its surroundings. But afterwards they included attributes religious language by extending the coverage area. The basis of assessments on religious language constitutes the nature of religious language and the status of logical expressions used in this period. Except to talk about God, the religious language depends on the normal language and logic rules. Some expressions used by the religious language may be indirect and complex, depending on it’s the issues that is metaphysical. Therefore, if confirmatory strict rules of the logical positivism are applied on the religious language, some concepts and assessments may appear to be inconsistent. In general, This study is concerned with difficulties of the talking about the God of Christian and Muslim theology and what is the meaning of the classical religious language in terms of present-day. On the other hand some of the analyzes will be provided about universality of intelligibility of the the Quran in the context the debates on the religion language and rationalism.
