Abstract


A Research about Perception of Supporters on Sport Communication: Sample of Çaykur Rizespor
This research is made for deciding the approaches and perception of supporters on sport communication and attitudes of Çaykur Rizespor football club’s directors and sportsmen. In this research, Çaykur Rizespor supporters, who live in city center of Rize, create the study group. There has been made a survey study on 798 volunteer participants. Sports communication form, which includes descriptive specialties and has been prepared by researcher, was presented to supporters and they have been wanted to answer the survey. Reliability coefficient of form, which is about deciding the sport communications perception, has been found high as Crombach Alpha=0,92. In the end of research, it has been decided that Çaykur Rizespor football club’s directors and sportsmen applied sport communication on mid-level due to supporter perception. Beside, it has been decided that supporters’ perception on sport communication differs due to gender, marital status, education level, process of following the club’s activities, situation of attendance to the football matches, situation of buying combined tickets and situation of membership to the supporter groups.
