Envıronment Law in Islam Within the Framework of the Infinite Principle of “Lâ Darara Velâ Dırâra”
The Quran states that resources in the environment are entrusted to the people and these entrust should be used in a balanced way without wasting; otherwise they may have many harmful effects both for the people and for the other wealth. Prophet Muhammad also gave important messages about how people should behave towards the assets around them. In the Islamic law, according to the infinite principle of “It is forbidden to respond to damage with damage”, you cannot enter behaviour that damages someone, and you cannot respond to damage with damage. Therefore, in the Islamic Law prohibits any kind of actions which harm the resources in the environment.
