Hennaed Woman and Her Music in Gender Axis
This article has been fictionalized on the reading of the root meaning sand symbols discussed by tradition phenomena based on gender thoughts. Henna is considered as a verbal cultural item that not only in functional use as a material cultural item but also varies depending on its geography and its history. The henna night is a women's entertainment in Anatolian Turkish folk culture. Within the context of, there is a state of devotion and sacrifice coded in the content of the repertoire that is said in the henna nights and known as 'Henna Songs'. According to this situation, the self-position in gand perceived value of the woman are discussed.
